Shavuot: Up The Mountain We Go!
(Mt. Diablo from the south)
Join us Sunday, June 1, as we climb Mt. Diablo from the south. Don't be daunted by the name "Diablo"; most of the ride up is a steady, gentle climb. We'll descend down the north side and return via Walnut Creek, Alamo, to Danville. 28 miles, 2450 feet of climbing.

About Shavuot: The holiday of Shavuot begins Sunday night. Originally an ancient grain harvest festival, the holiday has been identified since biblical times with the giving of the Torah on Mount Sinai.
